Kids Classes

Our Kids Kickboxing programme uses Martial Arts as a vehicle to instil values such as honesty, respect, courtesy and self control. All classes are taught in a structured, safe and fun way. We utilise a three month belt system for grading work to focus on achieving set goals and rewarding positive behaviour.

Parents are encouraged to watch all Kids Kickboxing lessons and play an active part in their child’s Martial Arts development. Within all classes a healthy life style is actively promoted and encouraged.

Age Groups

5 - 8 Year Olds

Our Kickboxing class for this age group focuses more on core skills than learning complicated Martial Arts techniques. We place a strong emphasis on fun, and use many martial arts themed games to prepare your child for when they enter a full martial arts programme.

Our lessons are designed to improve core skills such as balance, agility, speed, memory and teamwork. We also instil values such as honesty, respect, courtesy and self control. All attributes your child will take from the dojo into the outside world.

9 - 14 Year Olds

Our syllabus for this age group continues the theme of installing positive values such as concentration, improved focus, goal setting and communication skills. At this stage we start to introduce more Martial Arts training into the classes to prepare your child for their 3 monthly coloured belt gradings. We have found that achieving set goals such as gradings, will dramatically improve confidence and install a sense of self worth.

The more dangerous Martial Arts techniques have been removed at this stage and will only be taught in the adult classes, at all times we stress that self control is vitally important when learning Martial Arts and Self Defence Techniques.
